01Agreement to Terms & Scope of Services

By accessing our website, commissioning an editorial appraisal, purchasing an author package, using our bespoke plan calculator, or entering into an agreement with Kingdom Publisher International LLC ("Kingdom Publisher", "we", "us", or "our"), you ("Author", "Client", or "You") agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Kingdom Publisher provides specialized literary services including, but not limited to: ghostwriting, developmental editing, copyediting, galley proofreading, custom interior book formatting, luxury cover design, ISBN and LCCN registration, digital and print-on-demand distribution setup, bookstore wholesale cataloging, author platform web design, and launch marketing consulting.

02100% Intellectual Property & Copyright Retention

At all times during and following the provision of services:

• Absolute Copyright Ownership: You retain complete, undivided ownership of your manuscript, story concepts, fictional or factual characters, original titles, research, and artwork.
• Work-for-Hire Covenants: All edits, rewrites, ghostwritten chapters, and original cover design concepts produced by Kingdom Publisher personnel or contracted specialists constitute a "work made for hire" for your exclusive benefit, with full rights transferred to you upon payment completion.
• Adaptation & Subsidiary Rights: You preserve 100% of film, television, audio drama, translation, and international foreign rights without publisher lien or commission.

03Royalty Model & Direct Retailer Payouts

Kingdom Publisher does not operate on a recurring royalty-deduction model.

04Editorial Milestones & Author Approval Sign-Off

To ensure the highest standard of typography, design, and structural prose:

• Milestone Review: Work progresses through structured phases (Manuscript Assessment → Line Editing → Proofreading → Interior Galley Layout → Cover Mechanicals → Final Pre-Press Proof).
• Written Author Sign-Off: No title is sent to the physical printing press or uploaded to worldwide retail channels without your explicit written confirmation and approval of the final pre-press galley.
• Post-Approval Revisions: Revisions requested after formal pre-press sign-off or live retail catalog ingestion may incur modest file re-upload and distributor re-ingestion fees.

05Author Warranties & Representations

As the author and commissioning party, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the sole creator and legal owner of the manuscript and materials supplied, or possess all necessary written permissions for third-party quotations, images, or citations.
• The manuscript does not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or common law intellectual property rights of any person or legal entity.
• The work does not contain unlawful, actionable defamatory statements, or invasion of personal privacy under applicable jurisdiction.

06Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure (NDA)

We treat your creative and proprietary concepts with bank-grade security. All manuscripts, synopses, interview transcripts, ghostwriting notes, and communications submitted to Kingdom Publisher are protected under strict non-disclosure covenants. We never share, license, or expose your unpublished materials to third parties without your explicit authorization.

07Physical Book Manufacturing & Shipping Logistics

For custom print runs ordered through our Direct Author Printing Press:

• Manufacturing Specifications: Books are produced strictly following your selected paper weight (50lb, 60lb, 70lb), trim dimensions, and binding craftsmanship (Paperback, Casebound Hardcover, Foil Dust Jacket, or Collector's Gilded Edge).
• Manufacturing Tolerances: Minor commercial industry tolerances (+/- 2% in trim registration or color saturation) are standard in high-volume offset and digital printing.
• Freight & Damage Guarantee: Shipments damaged in transit or bearing manufacturing defects will be reprinted and replaced free of charge upon prompt photographic inspection within 14 calendar days of delivery.

08Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions and any dispute arising from your relationship with Kingdom Publisher shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith mutual conciliation shall be submitted to confidential binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in New York, NY.
