017-Day Pre-Production Cooling-Off Period

We offer an unconditional 7-calendar-day grace period from the timestamp of package booking or contract signing:

• If you cancel within 7 days and active editorial assessment, ghostwriting drafting, or custom design conceptualization has not commenced, you will receive a 100% full refund (less standard credit card processing gateway fees of 2.9% + $0.30).
• To exercise your right to cancel during this window, simply notify your Senior Project Manager or email [email protected] with your invoice number.

02Milestone-Based Editorial & Ghostwriting Services

Because literary ghostwriting and developmental editing require dedicated allocation of award-winning professionals, refunds for active projects are allocated strictly on a completed milestone basis:

03Cover Art & Interior Design Satisfaction Guarantee

We provide an Iterative Creative Guarantee on bespoke book covers and interior typographic typesetting:

• Our designers collaborate closely with you, providing initial concept moodboards and unlimited revisions until you formally sign off on the design direction.
• Once the final, press-ready PDF mechanicals (front, spine, back wrap, and foil stamp layers) have been approved and delivered in high resolution, design fees are fully earned and non-refundable.

04Official Agency Filings & Third-Party Fees

Official registrations submitted to government bodies or national agencies (including Bowker ISBN assignment, barcoding, Library of Congress PCN/LCCN cataloging, and U.S. Copyright Office registration fees) are non-refundable once submitted to the respective registry, as those agency fees are permanent, non-reclaimable public records.

05Physical Book Printing & Manufacturing Press Runs

Custom book orders placed through our Direct Author Printing Press (Paperback, Casebound Hardcover, Foil Dust Jacket, or Collector's Gilded Edge):

• Pre-Press Cancellation: You may cancel or modify bulk print orders at any time prior to your formal approval of the digital press galley proof for a 100% refund.
• Press Execution: Once press proofs are approved and physical paper stock cutting, plate printing, or smyth-sewn binding has commenced, physical print runs cannot be cancelled or refunded as they are custom-manufactured goods.
• Damaged or Defective Copies: If any copies arrive with manufacturing flaws (binding failure, misaligned trimming, ink smears) or transit damage, report them with photos within 14 calendar days of receipt. We will immediately rush-manufacture replacement copies at zero additional expense or issue a proportional credit.

06How to Submit a Refund Claim

To ensure orderly review and rapid resolution:

• 1. Send Notice: Email [email protected] with subject line "Refund Request: [Book Title or Invoice Number]".
• 2. Review Period: Our accounts team reviews your milestone progress and responds in writing within 3 business days with an itemized reconciliation statement.
• 3. Disbursement: Approved refunds are credited directly back to the original payment method (credit card, bank ACH, or Stripe account) within 5 to 7 business days.
